Effect of chemicals and PGRs on quality parameters of durum wheat under rainfed conditions of Bhal region of Gujarat

Drought is the most limiting factor for production in semi-arid ecosystem of Gujarat. Under changed climate scenario due to variability rain fall pattern problem drought aggravated. In order investigate effect foliar spray different chemicals and PGRs o no durum wheat under conserved moisture condition at Agricultural Research Station, AAU, Dhandhuka , Bhal tract Gujarat rabi season cultivation 2014-15 2016-17. The experiment was carried out randomized block with eight treatments three replications viz; T0 = Control, T1 Water spray, T2 Salicylic acid (100 ppm), T3 Thioglicolic T4 Murate potash (0.5%), T5 Calcium nitrate (0.2%), T6 Brassinolide (5 T7 NAA (40 T8 Thiourea (500 ppm) absolute control (T0 Control) wad made two stages crop first on tillering stage ear emergence sampling done each were collect biochemical analysis 10 days after (tillering & emergence) crop. Among imposed, result revealed that total chlorophyll content mg/fresh weight, Relative water (RWC), antioxidant activates gm/100 mg, proline mg/100 gm, glycine betaene gm protein mg found significantly higher treatment (Thiourea 500 over 6 (Brassinolide fond par sampling. whereas second data weight (3.358), % (72.156) RWC (81.71) AOA (2.271), (32.96), (232.86) (6.937) control.
